" The Veil "

The crack of a hardwood
echoes through the forest...face covered, the moon
shares the luminance it has only borrowed...
though glorious, not its own.

both light and neighbor reach out and welcome

new glory, that not only exceeds the former,
but is it's source.

" Frostline "

The battlelines drawn,
the opposers seek their domain to rule.

" Lifefire "

The fire that fuels all, casts its rays out like a net,
that it might store in it's recipients,
the likeness of itself.

" Chlorofall "

New leaf on Red Oak branches,
begin the work of utilizing the Lightfire energy.

light enters where it wills to dispel darkness.

at high noon on the Summer Solstice.

Homage...the tree to the Moon, the Moon to the
Sun.

Tenacity seems to be a major in the life of this Birch.
With it, has come a host of helpful travellers.

The lack of summer garb doesn't leave this
tree without strength...naked but regal.

.

without them we aren't,
A bountiful harvest if we protect them and what better
way to promote this agenda, than to enjoy them.

Same space as Fall Skyjack, but in the heart of
 Summer

" The Passage "

A rush of waters have traveled this path on their timeless
journey to bodies of the same.As if overseer, the Hemlocks
and rock, stand guard.

" Ground Zero "

Fall, out of the hole, seemingly explodes forth
it's color.

" Lightways "

The waning day casts highways of light through
the community of trees, all resting...all
waiting for that advent of the season of
the Sun.

" Stretch "

A Poplar, reaches from the shadows,
for the lifefire that is cast abroad.

White Cedar branches reach into the shadows

and call whomever, into the light rays they bask in.

" Abiding "

A perfect fall day...light and atmosphere descend upon the Hemlock and Beech.

This is the kind of image I want to capture and preserve on
paper with pigment so I can enjoy when our northern Michigan climate isn't so favorable.
